The card is the building block of the CardLink system. By creating a project for a new card, you define its type, fields, design and additional features.

The type sets the main role and functionality of the card. Here are the most commonly used scenarios:

Membership card

The card that makes your customers part of your club. It gives them access to your services, special conditions and events. It can be active or inactive depending on conditions you set, and cardholders can either self-register or be added strictly by you.

Discount card

The classic discount card, but without the plastic. You set the percentage or the discount tiers, and the change reaches the card in your customer's wallet automatically – no reissuing, no reprinting and no delivery costs.

Bonus points card

The card accumulates points when goods are purchased and lets them be used for discounts and rewards. The balance is visible on the card itself and updates after every purchase, so the customer always knows where they stand.

Voucher

A prepaid card with an accumulated amount – a gift voucher your customer receives directly on their phone. The value decreases with every use, while you follow the remaining balance and the history in real time.

Ticket

An event ticket that is checked at the entrance. If you need to sell tickets online but do not have such a system in place, you can use the payment subsystem built into CardLink and sell them directly through it.

Business card

Your digital business card in the customer's wallet. On its back you place a link to your online store, Google Maps with your locations, current promotions and a contact phone – everything one tap away.

What about the fields and the design?

Besides the type, you also define the fields you want present on the card – cardholder code, accumulated bonus points, validity. You can also set fields that are not visible on the card (email, phone, date of birth, gender) and this way build a database of your customers.

The design should be attractive and represent your company or product – colors, logo, image. The branding possibilities are endless. You will find more about this on the Info page, and the current prices on the Prices page.
